Scotland Rugby Team Holds Camps in Nagasaki

In preparation for the 2019 Rugby World Cup, Nagasaki City invited the Scottish rugby team to hold camps in the city. The Scotland Rugby Union answered in December of 2015, saying that they “will have a holding camp in Nagasaki City.” On August 24, 2016, the holding camp was officially concluded and signed between both parties at the Scottish team’s holy ground, Murrayfield Stadium.

 

Furthermore, on April 20, 2018, the organizing committee for the 2019 Rugby World Cup announced that Nagasaki City will also host the Scottish team’s official camp in the city.
