Are you interested in New Year's of Japanese? You can experience how to cook Japanese traditional dishes for New Year's in Japan. One is "Ozōni." Ozōni is a special soup with Mochi (rice cake) in it that you eat in the morning on New Year’s Day in Japan. "Kuri Kinton" is made from sweetened chestnuts and pureed Japanese sweet potato! It’s sweet and amazing. It’s part of the Japanese New Year’s lunch/dinner feast (Osech Ryori) so it’s basically like eating dessert in a main meal. We plan to provide this experiences 3 times on February 2020.

We will cook and eat “Sara udon” and other some dishes in a home in Nagasaki. This experience is provided in February 2020. 【Sara udon (皿うどん), literally means “plate noodles” in Japanese. It consists of two parts: crispy fried noodles on the bottom and stir fried seafood, pork, and vegetable sauce on top. All the ingredients in the soup are thickened with a small amount of slurry, so they coat well with the noodles.】 I prepare a fan for you as a gift.

You can learn how to make Japanese lunch box with local seasonal vegetables at ex-elementary school. The lunch box is colorful, so you can enjoy seeing the lunch box too. The lunch box includes two rice balls.
